Theme: Co Production and the mental health planning process

We’re delighted to announce that Sim Scavazza, Acting Chair of the Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West (BOB) Integrated Care Board (ICB) will be joining the assembly to discuss the BOB VCSE survey results and present her view of the state of play of the ICS.

In the run-up to the assembly, we are running our members’ survey asking what you think of the BOB integrated care system and the operating context for VCSE organisations. Please click here to have your say before 7th June 2024. We will discuss the survey results with Sim and put questions to her prior to the assembly.

Sim is a London WRES expert and an advisor on Race to NHS Providers. Sim was recently included in the 75 @ 75 Hidden GEMs Seacole Group list.  The list highlights 75 health and social care professionals from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds who are making a difference in the sector. Sim is a Trustee for two UK registered charities: the National Saturday Club and Smartworks where she is the Board lead for EDI. 

Sim is a good advocate of VCSE involvement in the system and an experienced charity trustee and chair, as well as holding several NHS and university non-exec director roles. She is also in the midst of the current change programme at the BOB ICB and the operational and financial challenges of the BOB NHS system.
